i have a 1998 presario compaq i dont know how to plug it up i dont know where to get the piece but everybody told me u were only 29.99 and i went to the store and u were like 90.00

As to a 1998 Presario, I have one. Runs ok on Win98 but I'll never let it touch the internet because the virus packages for today's threats don't work so well on that machine any more.

if you are talking about internet. you are probably talking about a modem. order your dsl from sbc or whoever your local provider is and get them to come out and hook it up for you. it runs as low as 14.99 a month for the slower packages or 10.99 if you get the really slow package that they don't advertise.
