Now I am only 15 weeks pregnant, so I don't know what I'm having yet, but I have it narrowed down.

Cheyenne Carmella
Conner Carmel

Now my name is Connie Christina, and my cousin's name is Caleb Cyrus, and my grandpa's name is Connie Carmel.

Carmel is a family name, and one person of every generation has Carmel in their name, it's how we all know we're related, we all just say "we have a family name of Carmel" and everyone goes "oh yeah, I have a cousin with Carmel in it" etc. and I have the first great grandchild so I thought I'd lead the next generation. Now I was named after my grandpa, who is my hero :) and my cousin got his initial to share :) and my grandpa hates having a girl's name, so he made me promise if I had a boy I'd give him a masculine name. So I thought Conner was a good compromise. :)

I was named after my father. I named my son by going through a bunch of names and trying to filter out everyone that I had a negative memory about. Real hard. I came up with Logan Matthew A_______.

well. . . i picked the name for a few people. and i just pick names that i like BUT they must have good meanings. I went to school with a boy named Jabez and that means pain...which blows. and then i went to school with a girl who got pregnant and named her child Jeezelbell (sp) which is the woman in the Bible who was pretty nasty all around and fell out of a window, trampled by horses and eaten by dogs because she tried to kill a prophet and like i said was just nasty.

My mom named me after a girl she thought was beautiful on a soap opera she watched alot when I was pregnant. Her name was Jacqueline Nicole. I named my daughter after a girl on American Wedding...Cadence. At the time I had never heard it before and thought it was beautiful and unique. I still haven't heard it all that much.

I took my mothers middle name and shortened it for my daughter-- Antoinette and I named her Tonnie (like Connie but with a T) and she was born in December so her middle name is Joy.
