When should I do my homework, shower, brush teeth, etc. and when should I be in bed??? I'm always yawning at school...yesterday I went to bed at 10 and woke up at 6 and school starts at 7:30 and I was so tired!!! I'm always procrastinating and hanging around and going on the computer... =p

You should make yourself a schedule and stick to it :)
If you didnt finish something, you can wake up earlier... chances its gonna be easier then staying up late;)

Homework should be as soon as you get home while the info is still fresh in your head.

If you are tired if you go to bed at 10 and get up at 6 then I suggest you stop work at 8, let your mind relax and wind down by watching a half hour program with a mug of hot chocolate, Have your shower, brush your teeth, etc after this and be in bed by 9.

Procrastination is a personal problem that only you can fix. Some things that can help are getting a study partner who will be a bit of a taskmaster and keep your head in your work and asking your parents to keep on your back about getting homework done.

Disconnect the net from your computer so that you won't be tempted to stray while doing homework. Also remove all games from your computer until end of school year for the same reason.

I know it's hard but I've been there and used to be the same way myself.

You should make yourself a schedule and stick to it. I would say for you to be in bed at 9 and then if you are still tired try going to bed by 8 or 8:30 then. Homework should be done when you return home from school after a small break. Shower should be done 30 minutes before bed. Which means if bed time is 9:00pm then shower should be 8:30. Your teeth should be brushed at 8:55. Then to bed at 9:00. In order to feel rested you have to stick to a routine.

Manage your time. Try something like this:

*When you get home make a snack (If you need one)
*Start on your homework while you're eating, if it's not a messy snack, and if it is then start on your hw right after
* Do your harder stuff first. (like if you have math home work that you find hard. Do it and if you have any questions that you don't know the answer to put a star by it and ask one of your parents for help after you get done with the rest of your work)
* Don't get on the computer until after you're done
*make sure you keep your notebook(s) organized. This will help cut down on your time searching for stuff
*When you have a project . . . start on it the weekend you get it or on a week day you don't have much other homework. If you do a little along you won't be in such a hurry to get it done
*If you have a lot of work take small 5-10 min breaks
*If you are easily distracted then go to a room where you'll be by yourself and keep the tv, radio, and computer off.

** Set your own bed time. Give yourself an 15min, 30 min hour to do something that you find relaxing before you go to bed. Make sure this isn't the computer because many scientists find that the glare from a computer hurts your eyes and makes it hard for you to sleep. Try meditating. It sounds a little weird but it gives you time to really really clear your mind right before bed so you're not laying in bed thinking of a million things to do. And you only really need 5-10 min of it. Try to shower a good 30 min or so before bed unless you find that it relaxes you enough to go to bed then do it right before bed.

When I was 15 I used to stay up late as well. I was always so tired. I'd stick to a schedule and get my work done but after it was finished I was ready to goof off on the computer or watch tv.

Good Luck.

Here's what I would do if I were you:

(I'm assuming school is out at 2:30p) - if not, make adjustments:

when you get home from school, have a quick snack...by 4pm work on homework.

I work on homework until around 6 or 7 depending on how much you have.

relax for a bit, watch tv, play on the computer until around 8:15p

at 8:15p go do the nightly routine - brush teeth, shower, etc.

Be IN BED by 9pm. You should be ASLEEP by 10p. If you can do that, you'll get a solid 8 hours of sleep!

I was and still am in the same situation... maybe I'm a little bit worse. I go to bed at about 11:30 and wakeup at 5:30. Anyways, you don't have to plan out your life. Just set a general time for everything and write down what you need to accomplish on a certain day. You also need to make sure you stick to your tasks before you go off and do anything else. For ex., I might work on my h.w. for about 2 hours at a time and then take a 20 minute t.v./snack break. Well, good luck!

10 is prolly the latest you should go to bed.
when you get home from school, have a snack and get straight into the homework. Eat dinner around 7 or 8, have a shower, brush ur teeth and off you go!
it worked for me!

Oh dear. I'm always up on time...
This is my routine if you are interested.
6.30am - Wake up (I don't take long to get ready).
7.10am - Go to school.
2.00pm - Get back from school. Have my lunch.
2.30pm - Go on the internet. Play the piano, lazy around.
4.00pm - Do my homework.
6.30pm - Go for my jog.
8.00pm - Dinner.
9.00pm - Sleep

Hope that helps.

School starts too early for you guys!!!!!! School doesn't start until 8:20 for us. Try and fit your bed time with your school time. Try not to take naps which will keep you up longer.

my sister is 12 and she goes to bed at 10:30 - 12:00, sometimes she gets back up later

I went to bed usually at around 11pm when i was 13-thru-16

I think lots of people like to go to sleep late, just a lot of parents are strict and don't allow it.
