Alexa Desiree is not a good name for an American child.
If you want to turn your sweet baby girl into a financial asset, the first thing you do is give her a European sounding name, especially a French sounding name. In other words, if you don't have prosperous European family connections, don't give your child a name that can belong only to a hooker or a princess. Alexa Desiree is a hooker name.

Love/Hate.......I Truly hate all names that begin with "Alex". there are so many possibilities of what Alex could be short for.....I just hate that name in all its various forms. However, I love love love Desiree, I've always thought that was such a beautiful name!!! how about Desiree Alexis (which is a more interesting name than Alexa in my opinion at least) Desiree is too gorgeous to hide as a middle name!

Okay. I'm totally not trying to be insulting here... but I've only known two Desirees in my life. One was the bus driver for my elementary school... she was a bleached blond biker chick who wore 6 inches of make up and had 3 out of wedlock children.
The other Desiree was a stripper and coke whore who lived next to me until she was evicted and arrested within the same week.
Alexa is ok but I would SOOOOO advise finding another middle name.

My name is Desiree and I love it. I think it is definetly classy sounding (and French by the way). As a little girl the name Desi fits perfectly and when she is a grown woman Desiree is appropriate and rare.

I think Alexa or Alexis is very pretty but personally desiree isn't my cup of tea...Alexa Louise, Alexa Jayde is more my style.
