i need help for bio plz?

wat was the evolutionary advantage of the proto-eukaryotes that engulfed areobic bacteria but did not digest them?

They form a symbiotic relationship. Eventually the aerobic bacteria evolved to become mitochondria.

it is believed that the aerobic bacteria evolved into mytochondria in animal cells and chloroplast in plant cells, the evidence is that each organelle has its own membrane. i forgot the name of this theory. i think ur gonna have to luk it up.
