There are programs that allow you to create these slide shows for the saver, but you can do your own with XP. Right click your empty desk top and select properties. This box has the different settings for your monitor and sleep modes, etc on the the different tabs. Click the one that says ScreenSaver and in there you can click the drop down arrow in the middle and choose: My Pictures Slideshow, then click the button to the right that says Browse. Navigate to the folder with the pictures you want displayed and then say OKAY. Then say APPLY. If you want, you can also tell it how long to wait before it starts...you may want it sooner or later.
