Macs don't even come with floppy disks anymore but i still see PCs with built floopy drives and PC users use floppies.

Or maybe it's a thing of the past but i'm not sure cause i don't use PCs.

What replaced the Floppies anyway? I don't use anything. i know Long time ago i used ZIP disks.. but i don't do any transfering by hand anymre. everything is by internet now.

When I was in school for medical receptionist the software they use and that we learned were for some reason made only on floppy disks. I guess because it's a decent way to make nightly backups? Dunno.

Well, some new PCs don't have Floppy Drive anymore. Also the applications are needing larger memories so Floppy disks aren't enough. Lol even CDs are getting obsolete.

i dont use floppy disks... majority of ppl now use usb keys, i have 2 or 3 of em ... i primarily use a dell laptop that doesn't have a floppy disk drive

CD-ROM's are bootable now. Don't need floppies anymore. Floppies used to have the boot-up files and drivers on them.

I don't use nor have a floppy drive installed inside, this had been so for years for me.

Although it turned out to be handy in an outdated Toughbook I bought in a firesale.

People now use USB.
Floppies are cheaper and are better and more "official" for documents and small things.
You cant give other people USB, floppies are a better choice.
