Quarantine first, remove later... just on the odd chance that your scanner flagged a false positive that winds up being vital to a regular/safe program. (They all do it sometimes, even the best paid ones.)

It's always a good idea to keep the detected malware in quarantine for a week or so while you go about your normal computer use. After about a week, assuming that everything continues to work properly, delete it permanently then.

Quarantine it.

Then search the web for the name of the file (which you should write down when you do the quarantine). See what you can find out about it.

If it is a file you don't need, delete it.

it;s far more better to delete completely a virus in your PC than quarantine it cause if you accidentally remove your ANtivirus, then the virus in your quarantined list will restore in its original place meaning, it will harm again your pc so best to delete it... but some viruses can't be deleted for some reason that's why you have quarantine.

Why would anyone want to keep a virus? Delete it

Deleting it would be better
1. You can feel safer in the future.
2. Prevent any future accidents.
3. Why would you want to keep it?
4. It saves space.

I think you should do whatever is best for your computer. If you think you can keep it in quarantines without them harming your computer again, do it.
