Johnny Maestro. He has an incredible voice with a great range. He sang acappella doo wop with The Crests and The Brooklyn Bridge. "16 Candles" is a classic, and his cover versions of great old doo wop songs are at least as good as the originals. He's been doing this for over fifty years, and his voice is better than ever.

I can't name a particular favorite but one of the best Doo-Wop groups I can think of were The Flamingoes. They took a 1930s song ("I Only Have Eyes For You") and completely made it their own.
