If you mean for fashion, I can't help you.
If you mean to keep warm in cold weather, the secret is layering. If you're going to be outside for a long time in the cold, layering helps you change how much insulation you have on to adjust for different conditions. Wear a t-shirt, then a shirt or sweatshirt or sweater, then your coat. If you get too warm, you can always unzip the coat and open it a bit.
If it's not too cold, blue jeans or synthetic pants are OK. For colder weather, or if there's a significant wind chill, you need more than that. Check out long underwear for starters, or even ski bibs.
Always wear an insulated hat in cold weather. One with earflaps is best.
Finally, find a pair of basic cotton jersey gloves, and then find a pair of larger gloves that you can wear over the jersey ones. Again, the idea is layering. The light gloves are good for quick trips outside. The double pair gives you much more insulation and protection. For really cold environments, or if you're handling cold metal for example, use mittens instead of gloves. You can also get a spare pair of the jersey gloves to use if the first ones get wet.
All of this may or may not make you fashionable, but you WILL be warm. Take a look around you in cold weather - who looks happy - the warm people who may not be so fashionable, or the fashionable people who are shivering?
