I should be about 9weeks today according to LMP or 8.5 from ultrasound. I had a scan done at 7weeks and baby was fine and I saw the heart beat and all.

Its just that I can't shake this feeling that something isn't right. I have had a lot of abdominal pain like cramping which I know is common and I had it with my first baby who is a healthy 5 year old now. Maybe I'm just over doing it? It just doesn't seem right though. I've spoken to my doctor about it and she's not overly worried and I have another scan in 3 weeks (12wks pregnant) and it is definately not ectopic nor do I have any bleeding whatsoever.
Did/Does anyone else feel or felt like this? I still have the usual symptoms like nausea and tender, enlarge breasts.

I know I'm probably just being paranoid but isn't your instinct usually right? I'm scared to death that I might still miscarry and
I don't want to feel like an idiot by going for another ultrasound yet

what should I do??? It is my third baby so I should know!

do you think its my mind going into overdrive because by now my experience and knowledge is a lot more in terms of things that can go wrong, so maybe its just usual first trimester paranoia???

I'm usually not one to vote for paranoia. I think that it's probably the first trimester jitters that we all get. I believe I spent a good portion of my first trimester crying in bed convinced that there was something wrong.

Sounds like you've got a great dr, you're not inexperienced....you're being a wonderful mommy already. Take a deep breath in, blow it out and try to relax. =)

Yes, it sounds like. I can tell you from personal m/c experience that when you do miscarry (unless it's a missed pregnancy, in which the fetus would already be deceased and you wouldn't find out til later, which is highly unlikely since you already saw the healthy baby and heard the heartbeat) you get more than normal pregnancy/period-like pains. It is INTENSE pain and cramping, usually following the beginning of the bleeding. The bleeding itself begins as brownish discharge (or may begin as bright or dark red blood) and gets continually worse. You would know.

STRESS IS NOT GOOD FOR THE BABY. Take a soothing bath, listen to some relaxing music, breathe deep, and take it easy. It will help. Keep a watchful ear to your body, but unless there are any of the abovementioned m/c signs, please try to breathe easy! Good luck!

This is totally normal!! I felt the exact same way, and the doctor had me come in. I was having some pain in my lower abdominal and so he did a ultrasound. Come to find out "Growing Pains"! Who would have though that they felt like cramps!!

Funny thing is, I was soo scared of miscarrying and when we looked at the ultra sound the baby started kick boxing and jumping. Than all of a sudden "smiled"!! Dr. took a picture of it's First smile for us!! (Tears)

If the doctor isn't too concerned than don't stress over it! Worrying isn't good!! Just relax and keep your mind on other stuff.

Good Luck!!!

I just had a miscarriage, I was about 7ish weeks. I am sure that I am going to be paranoid when I become pregnant again. There is nothing you can do about it if it is going to happen anyways, and worrying isn't going to help. So if you aren't bleeding and you feel okay, except for cramping I bet that you are just fine. Just take it easy and relax and Don't Stress!!!! Congrats, Im sure you will have a happy healthy baby in 7 months!!!! Good luck!

Yeah, you need to wallow in it. I try this each and all the time. besides the shown fact which you type of ask your self why you wallowed, this is all an excellent waste of time. this is a sucky feeling. yet, why do you think of you at the instant are not stable sufficient for him? From very own experience, i take advantage of to think of that I wasn't stable sufficient for every person. yet after having my coronary heart broken I type of realised that i replaced into plenty greater helpful than that and that i should not be made to sense no longer as good as every person. this is enormously complicated. in the event that they turn you down type of look at it interior the experience which you're merely no longer 'authentic', in preference to 'stable sufficient'. And this is their loss ;-) ...yet, yeah do issues that'll cheer you up. this is an excuse to bypass procuring somewhat ....

if i were you i would follow my gut instinct, honestly its normally right. if you feel something is wrong or isnt going right then you need to go to the hospital. dont even think twice about it. just tell the ER doctor what symptoms you ar ehaving and make sure he knows you will not leave until you are completely checked out(ultrasound and internal exam) just let him know how worried you are! good luck and god bless dear!

Well I can't tell you the sure answer because I cant see in your uterus but I can tell you that I had horrible cramps between 8 and 11 weeks. No bleeding either and my little man is fine. I am 16w5d today. :)

just relax Hun stay calm, and wait till your next appt. and go from there, but if you were to have bleeding or your cramps get worse i would go to the er just to be safe. and then again you haven't had a baby in 5 years so it might be that your just so excited.

I don't want to scare you, but my friend had the feeling her first pregnancy. It started off as a feeling, then she just said one day she knew she would miscarry, and she did.

I would go get seen by a doctor just in case.
