i dont believe in hell as in somewhere you go after death with tons of flames and a little red guy with horns. however, i believe you can have hell right here on earth in your own mind. guilt is hell. and you live with it day in and day out. i dont know about the afterlife...i think its either a return to pure energy and your energy continues and is a part of everything in the universe or possibly some form of reincarnation. i like the buddhist view of things..which basically is that life is suffering and the only way to transcend that suffering is through sacrafice. this is also the key to happiness. when you stop worrying about yourself and your own needs and put others before you. so..you may want an affair or sex partner but you deny yourself this to keep your spouse's life happy. that is a sacrafice and though it may be hard at first..you can die knowing you lived a decent life and never hurt anyone. that will lead to happiness. sorry i know this is kind of deep but it helps me!!

No. Hell doesn't exist - life and reality exist. So, you might commit adultery and then feel like you're in hell. There will probably be terrible consequences to pay tomorrow, next week, or next month. Lying usually leads to that. Then again, there are lots and lots of men and women who commit adultery who apparently go on to have functional lives. I wonder, though, if it compromises their happiness a little, living a lie and having a less than sacred marriage.

Not accepting Christ is what sends people to hell. It's that simple. Adultery is part of a broken relationship. Adultery is wrong. Adultery does not send a person to hell. However, a person with a relationship with Christ as Lord and Saviour is less likely to commit adultery...though not impossible.

Committing adultery is no different then over eating or
staying drunk,or telling lies.Hurting someone feelings by
gossip,,judging one another. All can be forgiving.
God will forgive the sinner. Now, if you are not a believer.
You don't feel remorse and ask forgiveness, the Scriptures
say you will burn in hell.I want to always ask for forgiveness,
I sure don't want to find out the hard way.Read your Bible.
Ask for wisdom. You will find every answer in the Bible.

The only way anyone will burn in hell is if they are not saved. Adultery, murder, and other sins will not make you go to hell.

there is a story in the bible about a women that was caught in adultry and brought out of her city by the church leaders to be stoned to death (have rocks thrown at her until she died). Jesus happened to come upon this scene and asked what was going on. The priests said that she had sinned and was going to die. Jesus told them "he that is without sin may throw the first stone. one by one the men put thier stones down and walked away. Jesus told the woman that since noone was left to condem her that she was free to go .. That is forgiveness ... we all need it.. the only sin that God does not forgive is the sin of denying that He is God..The bible is full of examples of people who "hardened" their hearts against Him..Read what happened to them.. they were distroyed..

Sin is sin. If he's got Jesus' blood, he's covered. But it's a terrible way to live your life--destroying a sacred vow of marriage and the lives of the spouse and children (YES, it affects them majorly).
