8(x-m)=-2(x+m)
8x-8m=-2x-2m
(8x+2x)-8m=(-2x+-2x)-2m
10x-8m=-2m
10x=6m
10x/10=6m/10
x=6m/10

This involves using the distributive property, instead of cheating your way through school ask your teacher for help. If your in high school and plan to go to college, trust me you really want to learn this stuff because its not about just turning in answers.

= 8 ( x - m) = -2( x + m)
= 8x - 8m = -2x -2m
=10x = 6m
x = 6m / 10
