Depends on who is with me and how tired I am. If Im wide awake and it is someone I am getting to know, go to the movies. If Im tired or with someone special, snuggle at home.

Without a doubt I would rather stay in. I always seem to pick the seat which will have a non-stop talking child behind mme who loves to kick my chair, or a lady that has to tell her friend everything that is going to happen right before it does, or a nice puddle of butter in the floor under my shoes that get them all gooey and sticky, ot 3 teenage guys that love to hoot and holler at their friends sitting on the other side of the theater, etc!!!!!! We bought a 73" HD TV and added in a great sound system, have our comfy recliners-heck I'll never go back to the movies! People have lost their respect and kindness towards their fellow man! As you can probably tell, it's a really huge pet peeve of mine. I'll be interested in watching the results of your poll. Fun question!!!

i'd rather stay in and watch a movie at home, but prepare myself by buying some popcorn from the store, and lollies, sit back on the couch, and it would be like im at the movies in my own home. then again, i do happen to have a large television

When I was little, the cinema was just an experience! It truly was magic for me. I would go as much as I could and watch as much as well.
While I still have that same attitude towards cinema, I have found irritating crowds, high prices, and lack of proper films quite an inhibitor. I always have to dig out the brilliant indie and foreign films that stimulate me creatively. Sometimes I find them in theaters, other times, I just stay in and make it my personal experience.

Stay in and watch a movie. Besides when you're at home, paying attention is more optional, depending on whom you're "watching" with.

i love going to the movie to feel the acting or feeling with the big screen.
But if i stay home, it depend on my mood that day.
because sometime we just want to stay home and watch movie so i will say it's depend on the person's mood that day
