i didn't realize until i got home, when i went back the lass was extremely rude as if it were my fault. i bit my tongue, but i wasn't impressed. had it been $1 too much i wouldn't have bothered as the shop was clear across town, but$33 was worth going back for.

YES BUT THAT IS WHY YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO BE ALERT TO BEING SHORTED AT THE CHECK STAND--$10 OVERCHARGED ON CHANGE AND CAUGHT IT RIGHT THEN. GAVE M MONEY BACK AFTER THEY COUNTED TILL DOWN IN MORNING--TIS HUMAN TO ERR BUT NOT DEPARTMENT POLICY TO FORGIVE NOR FORGET.

Yes I agree. Just this week, I purchased an item the shelf tag said 24.99 and the register rang as 26.99. I pointed it out and requested the lower price. They did re-ring the sale but when I recommended the manger pull the wrong sign off the shelf, I was ignored as if this was too much work to do. (or someone elses problem)

Yes, I hate it. I try to check the sales slip before I load whatever I bought into my truck.

Everyone makes mistakes... no one likes to be over charged.
Sorry she was rude to you... it was her mistake to over charge you but to be rude about it was a choice and a bad one!

in your case if the person was rude - i would have been mad to -- but if it was a honest mistake i would not hate it -- i would thank the person who helped straight it out!!!
