Moss without a doubt. Deion is fast, but so is Randy. Randy is running routes, Deion is reacting. Randy has a great height advantage and can jump.

all this assumes of course that the QB can get Randy the ball where he wants it.

Did you hear Rolle on ESPN today. he said it's unfair to have to cover Randy without being able to hold him. What more do you need to hear?

Deion Sanders would own Moss, especially in a playoff game. Moss dissapears in playoffs while Sanders was known as Prime Time. Moss relies on speed to get open, and Sanders (4.18 in the 40-yd dash) in his prime was quicker and faster than Moss. Moss would never beat Sanders with speed and he's never been a route-running threat to think he can beat a savvy Sanders that way. The only possibility would be Moss wearing Sanders down...and Moss is not exactly the most physical WR. Deion is not among the leaders of interceptions because QBs usually ignored the receiver that he was covering. INTs don't really tell how good is a CB, only that he has good ball skills.

the thing is randy moss isnt really a great route runner and because of that his speed wouldnt give him an advantage against deion. but at the same time deion does like to gamble alot such as jumping routes so it all depends on who is throwing the ball and whether if there is going to be any jump balls... but in the end im into defense and i will give sanders the benefit of the doubt so i guess victory would go to deion

Moss Catches 2. Bad patterns and you just couldn't beat Deion with pure speed. Plus Deion could get up with anyone. If you remember, Dallas did leave him one on one with Randy in a playoff game. He did a great job in the first half and then got hurt. He was well past his prime then.

Deion Sanders was a true shut down Corner, a pure athlete.

He would leave Randy at 20% with a pick.

I watch sanders on the nfl network, and he likes to hype up Moss a lot. Even I think he would give Moss the slight advantage just by the way he talk about him. Sanders been out for some time now, Im not too sure he still has it in him. but who knows. I don't think he would be toast but he would be putting up a good fight. that is what he is best known for. either way, I respect Sanders too much to think less of him.

Moss is an athletically gifted receiver but is otherwise lazy and undisciplined. In a canned one on one situation where Deion KNOWS the ball is coming his way every time, Moss would be shut down, pretty much like he has on every other team that can't field another offensive threat. (No one would be talking about Moss without Brady/Welker/Stallworth/Watson keeping secondaries busy almost on their own.)

Moss in his prime would catch at least 8. Moss has hops and Deion in his prime was short, and still is.

on a "go' route Deion would win but if moss can run other routes deion needs help up top like any other corner.

I know Moss and I would tell him this Prime would shut him down. Moss has 2 routs and Prime is fast enough to stop both of them. He would catch 2 passes on Prime.
