rationality has nothing to do with it. recall if you will...prior to the invasion of Iraq some polls suggested 90% approval to invade. the reasons are many, but, unsavory people have been manipulating the masses since humans started grouping up. the methods have become more sophisticated over time but the end result is the same. the greatest mystery is why some will believe, when every sense they possess tells them otherwise.

Nearly all great men are bad men. Power is poison....The danger is not that a particular class is unfit to govern; every class is unfit to govern.
Lord Acton
All men having power ought to be mistrusted.
James Madison
I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.
James Madison
Aristotle
tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side.

I don't believe in polls. And yes, the mob mentallity is not the right mentallity, no more so than an elitist mentallity would be. Yours is the mob mentallity, made obvious by the fact you can find nothing good that our President has done. You just blindly spew your filth as it is told to you.

70% don't disagree.
The polls are written to influence public opinion.
Some are actually intentionally skewed for political interest.
70% of Americans are not happy with the war in Iraq.
That's true, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY BLAME THE PRESIDENT.
Most of the time, a majority of the people agree with the President, and he has the votes to prove it.
Nice try at propoganda, though.

Well if I am Rush Limbaugh, I don't care because I know I am right. I don't have to rationalize it because I am smarter than the rest of you, period. In fact I have stated that you do not have the intelligence to even discuss it. So go away and let me and my 30% live in our bliss, knowing that we are superior to you.
