So its someone I have cut off by email as they are emotionally abusive toward me. I was clear but not hurtful and they sent a card and vouchers and I got bf to open it so I wouldnt have to read it but I cannot accept these. I don't want to be nasty but they must go back. How would you do it?

if you do not want the gifts, don't sent them back.. just trash them.

by sending them back you are communicating with the person, and continuing the relationship. by trashing them, you're making a clean break.

Oh...tis the season to be jolly. SO ENJOY! You can always "return to sender" - very simple. IF you really didn't want to accept ANYTHING then the envelope never should have been opened. HOWEVER it was...so either do one of two things: RETURN them to sender if there is one OR enjoy.

I would put them in an envelope an get my BF to write a Thanks but No Thanks letter. Both of you sign it. That gives a sign of solidarity and shows that you are not available. Next time anything comes from him, return to sender without opening.
