It has been a long and cold winter. I am ready for spring.

How about you?

A long and cold winter in Texas? Or are you somewhere else for the winter?

When I went out to get a coffee on Sunday morning, it was -29. Today was the warmest day we've had, with a high of -4.

So yes, I am very, very ready for spring. Unfortunately, we have at least three months of winter left.....the river doesn't even break until late April/early May!

I've been ready since the Astros had no chance of making it to the playoffs. I'm interested to see how all of the acquisitions Wade has made are going to play out. I hope he has a plan, because right now the Astros have about 6 outfielders and a few second basemen. I hope I can get opening day tickets.

I'm always up for baseball. I'd like to see the spring training lineups, though. Everyone has decided their team will win or lose already. Things change. But baseball? Heck, I'd watch women's softball. I'm ready.

For some of us, it's already started! Recruiting starts this month, sign-ups in January, rosters set in February, spring training in March and games start in April.

Definitely. I can't wait to see how Loney, Kemp, Billingsley, Martin, and maybe Ethier improve.

I am soooo ready. I am a Brewers fan and just to see a glimmer of hope makes me look forward to next season even more. IT HAS BEEN A LOOOOOOOONG TIME SINCE US BREWER FANS HAVE HAD ANYTHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO!!
