Mine really haven't. I'm very much a "liberal" (so over used), always have been, I used to think in high school, if I would change my views once I had kids, but I really haven't. Have you?

P.S. I respect everyones opinion and like to hear from everyone :)

I've flip flopped several times. I like to think I have a unique outlook politically. I agree with you that the term "liberal" is overused, as many people who claim they are "liberal" don't TRULY have a liberal stance, as they are quick to attack or dismiss those who disagree with their views, whereas if one were a "liberal" thinker in the literal sense, he'd be able to see where the other guy is coming from and be okay with it. That being said, I like to think of myself as being liberal in the literal sense because my political outlook is a mixed bag. I have some stances that are considered to be "from the right" and some that are considered "from the left". I consider this a benefit of my stances having changed over time as you said, and I'm thankful for it. I'm not saddled with one view or another based on party lines or what I think someone would like to hear. I'm able to respectfully disagree with amother's outlook (but still try to persuade them to agree with mine) without crossing the line into attacking them, which I think is a true liberal mindset. I think that the term "liberal" is misused moreso than it is overused.

once I first found out on the subject of the terrorism that Reagan replace into authorizing and investment and then back once I found out that Newt Gingrich released Ken Starr as a one guy witchhunt, I knew i replace into with the incorrect occasion. Then as I found out to think of heavily, using logic and reason, i found out that the Republicans have been constantly utilising sophistry and wrong logic. Now this is long gone to the factor of disengenuity. there is not any way i'm able to assist a occasion this is self delusional, bitter, hating and places their very own time table over the guideline of regulation or perhaps elementary human decency. I see no longer something that keeps the GOP from attempting to place yet another Bush in the White homestead. How can any individual help using torture or international domination or all people who might call our shape "purely a God d@#$%ed piece of paper"?

Nothing drastic (started on the right and kept drifting in that direction), just as I get older I get more and more fed up with the direction things are heading and less inclined to believe the political situation is likely to be remain peaceful during my lifetime - just seems like that line in the sand keeps coming closer and closer.

I was liberal to begin with, and become more so with every passing year. Some people said that conservatism is associated with age, and as I got older, I'd start naturally becoming more conservative, but it hasn't happened that way. I'm more of a leftist now than ever.
