Yes they will be safe as long you put peroxide and rubbing alcohol on the ear lobe to keep the infection down, but once you take those earrings out you can't put them back in for you piercing will shrink to normal piercing size.

Yes. The idea is to not let the fresh wound heal without an earring in there. Just swap the earrings out, and it'll be okay.

i wouldnt do it cause the studs you get ur ears pierced with are a little bit bigger than the common earing so you would end up with a earring hole smaller than normal

YOU NEED TO WAIT 4 WEEKS... BEFORE THAT YOU WILL JUST KEEP MESSING WITH THE HEAL JOB AND IT WILL TAKE FOREVER TO HEAL...AFTER 4 WEEKS YOU STILL NEED EARINGS IN ALL THE TIME FOR A WHILE BUT GO AHEAD AND CHANGE THEM AFTER 4 WEEKS

i would strongly suggest that you do NOT do it because your earings you got peirced with are made special so that your ears will not react its made of a different material i learned the hard way (twice) and whatever you do DO NOT use peroxide or rubbing alchol it will cause them to close up.
