Go to the county courthouse, they should be public records.

go to the main court house in the state that they were married in and as long as you have a close date you will be allowed to look at all the marriage license issued on that day. but remember the license are recorded months after the actually wedding date. somewhere around two to three months. I'd say the easiest thing would be to ask them. Do you know their wedding anniversary? If you can't ask them then perhaps you could ask a grandparent or an aunt or uncle who knew when they were married. Do they have a wedding album. They may have it written in there somewhere. The easiest thing though would be to ask them when they were married. And why do you need to know without them knowing?

If you know the county and state they were married, then you could visit the courthouse and ask. That is a matter of public record. The information should be free, but don't quote me on that.

You can try the hall of records where they where married but I believe the charge. If they where married in a Church they would most likely have a record of it and will likely be able to give it to you for free.
