I was in the shower this moring and this bug was crawling up the wall and i grabbed the sprayer and was trying to kill it with water because that was my first thought. My freinds were making fun of me all day when i told them have you ever tried that or im i just dumb???

If you lace the water with arsenic it would probably do the job, and qualify as killing a water bug with water. I wouldnt shower in it, tho.

No, and you really can't kill them with Raid either! I found this out when I was younger and I almost used up a can of Raid on one bug!!

I've washed spiders and other bugs down the drain. It might not kill them but it gets rid of them!

You probably can. Most insects breathe through their abdomen, so if the air holes in their abdomen are blocked they would suffocate. I think a bug could drown.

hairspray or alcohol will do the trick- like those shower sprays. I used to nuke them- takes a good 30 seconds.

I guess if you flush it down the toilet it will die, but just spraying water on it is not going to do anything, I don't think. You are not dumb, though, don't worry. =)

those are a sort of roaches. the final way is to hire an exterminator. in case you do not elect to try this, then their are a number of products on the industry that should provide you momentary relief.

it depends if the water its shot at the bug at 50 mph yeah you could blow it to peices.... but to drown it youll have to keep it under.

waterbugs don't crawl.... so i guess you stand a good chance of drowning it if you can let it stay submerged for a minute or so....
But if you hope the spray from your showerhead can kill it... then i'm gonna LMFAO~!
