North Lake is a few blocks away from us. Very small though and no fish but it makes a great place to ice skate and play hockey for all the young ones.

Shoal Creek to the immediate south, three miles from me. Grand Lake to the southwest in OK, Table Rock lake south east. Lots of other lakes, creeks and rivers close by within 20 miles.

We have a creek in the back of our yard, it leads to a pond down the street. The James River is a few miles to our south and the Pumunky River and Mattiponi River are close too. We have a cottage on the Rappahannock River. There's Lake Anna (nuclear reactor) to our north. All of this is within 50 miles of home.

The closest one would be the Ark. River and then we have the Haskell Lake and then ponds all over the place and a few creeks here and there.

There's a wee Creek a few minutes away, but the biggest body of water that's nearest is The River Tay.

Living in Southern New Jersey, we are surrounded by water...we are tidelands and pine barrens.
The largest is the Atlantic Ocean...about 60 miles... Then the Delaware river, Cooper River, Mullica, Ramapo, too many lakes and streams to count.
