HSV, you better take a refresher course in what units mean.
0.25 g of Zn IS in mass units
To find moles/divide by atomic wt of zinc.
10 mL IS a volume unit.

0.25 g Zn
0.25 g/ 65.38 g/mole = 0.00382 moles of Zn
