my doctor told me my due date is april 24th.
but thats him guessing from a 28 day cycle right?
I have a 22 day cycle, so what day would that put my due date to?
probably a dumb question but I dont know much about cycles!

usually if you know when your last menstural period was, they will take that and determine your due date regardless of length of cycle. Most women still ovulate around day 14 give or take but may have a longer or shorter time between ovulation and period bleeding. So it shouldn't matter

However if they did a dating scan at 17weeks they would have measured the CRL - crown-rump length - of the baby and given you a gestation and due date based off that. This doesn't really have anything to do with your cycle length so thats why the sonographer wouldn't ask about it.

If the doc has said april 24th based off babies measurement on ultrasound then take it but put one week either side as your due date as ultrasounds aren't usually very accurate the later in pregnancy that they are done. I had one done at what I thought was 7wks 5days and they said 7wks1day so its different already. Know doubt when I have my 12 and 18 week scans I will get another date but the doc is taking my original LMP due date for now as it is still the most accurate.

Best of luck and congratulations

If your last LMP was July 19th, that is what I calculated. Then your due dat would be 4/18/2008 with a 22 day cycle. Hope I helped, try:

at most all it could do is change your due date by six days. but most due dates are an estimated guess at best anyway since they always say 40 weeks give or take two weeks.
