1/1000 is one part of one thousand.
1/100 is one part of one hundred which is equal to 10 parts of 1000. It's certainly more.

1/100 is 1 penny.
1/1000 is a tenth of a penny.

1:100 is stronger as it is equals to 1 part out of 100,whereas 1:1000 equals to 1 part out of 1000 .

Use a calculator. 1:100 is like 1 / 100. See which results in a larger number.
