Oh I was anxious too..... and it does seem to go on forever...but I found myself busy with preparing the baby's room, washing all the clothes, etc... as well as reading (because believe me, you'll barely have time for that). Find things that you want to do to pamper yourself. When your baby girl arrives, there will be few moments to do that. Take care and good luck!

I actually went through this same thing. I was SOOO sick of being pregnant, and only wanted my baby. Well, my baby is now 10 months old. I wish EVERYDAY I had enjoyed my pregnancy more, and had a journal I wrote in, and really was more positive. I was MISERABLE. Sick all the time, and had constant blader infections. (NOT from sex, I wouldnt let him touch me) So, to say the least, it was no fun. But now, when I think back, I wish I would have enjoyed myself more, and was more carefree... I just hung out with my dog all day.... and bitched about everything. Was really bored. Shopped a lot! Something fun you could do, is try to read some books, and join some groups for pregnant woman. Or, some mommy groups. You can even volunteer. Take it easy, just relax!!! Enjoy this time... Go on a mini-vacation with your hubby. So, you can really connect and forget about the baby coming and just enjoy yourselfs... Hang out with friends, family, take a pregnancy yoga class, or you can email me for laughs.... lol! Have fun, and take care! :)

Don't feel so bad, I am 37 weeks pregnant and have been on bedrest for the past 4 months because of an incompetent cervix and had to have a cerclage. I thought I would lose my mind. But I made it. And pretty soon I will be holding my baby girl and it will be all worth it. So, hang in there, you'll get through it. I started crocheting a baby blanket to help pass the time. Scrapbooking too. Good luck!!

do you have some hobbies or things you just never get time for????
*Start a scrapbook album of your family or go through all those photos that are sitting around and finally sort them all out into albums!!
*Go shopping and get creative with the babies nursery. Find some DIY projects to accomplish for around the house like fixing up a chest of drawers of bookshelf for the babies room.
*Hire some DVD's and sit and be a couch potato while you still can.
*Go to the library and read read read!!
*Join a mothers group and get to know some new people.
*Have lunch with friends or spend sometime visiting with people that live further away.
*if you enjoy doing puzzles, buy some and they will definately take away a few hours for you. Its also relaxing and a chance for quiet time.
*do some gardening
*Join a pre-natal yoga class so you can meet other mums in similar circumstances to you
*start a web group for mums due in whatever month you are. Yahoo groups - eg: april 2008 mummies group etc...
Hope that gives you some inspiration....
Best of luck and congratulations!

oh girl...believe me, I know how you feel...the weeks started to fly for me by 8 months...now I'm 36 weeks and these last few weeks I heard are the hardest...I don't think you can do much but keep yourself occupied w/ chores, baby stuff, projects, ect. I read a lot and watch movies. I also sew many projects and get a head start on Christmas shopping...wrapping presents, cleaning...lol...but by the end of the day, I hope to sleep the last 4 weeks...lol...good luck all mommies to be feel this way~

Start addressing envelopes for baby announcements and thank you cards. Organize EVERYTHING. Get rid of anything that you can! You will be amazed at how little time you will have when baby comes! Get the nursery ready. Make lists of things you need, want and can live without. Read. The holidays are coming up...if you are done with your shopping, ask friends and family if you can help with theirs or offer to wrap their gifts for them while they are at work. Look at different recipes that you can freeze online. Try them out, pick the ones you like best and when you are closer to your due date, whip some up so you don't have to cook when baby comes.

Haha, just remember this time after you have the baby. Better yet, wait until you're chasing a toddler around! By then you'll be having fantasies about having 10 minutes of free time. I would suggest reading a book to pass time, since you probably won't have time to read one without pictures for a few years.

Start a family photo albulm for your child, with names and dates so they will know their heritage. You can continue it once the baby is born , if you have time. Everyone likes to know their family background.
