and may i suggest the book, "The Meaning of Wife". it talks about the unrealistic expectations of women in marriage - having a full time career, being a home maker, being a perfect wife, eventually having kids - and then talks about reality and what women need to do to make themselves (and by extension, their husbands) happy. you can't be a better wife until you love yourself and are happy with who you are and where you are in life.

accept the things we cannot change and change the things we can. What ever improvements you want to make to yourself make sure you do it for you and not for anyone else or you will always be seeking an answer to that question.

Be their best friend. Do things together that he likes to do that you wouldn't want to do yourself. Be supportive, be his cheerleader, be his wife, friend, lover.
