IN steps please....
and 2nd question is
2 times X = 1/2 - 1/6
1/2 and 1/6 is in fractions.

(1/3) * (15):

If you meant for x to be on the bottom with the 3, then it's like this:
1/(3x) = 8 + 7
1/3x = 15/1
1 = 45x
1/45 = x

2x = 1/2 - 1/6
2x = 3/6 - 1/6
2x = 2/6
x = 1/6
