There are numerous things you may work at. In the beginning you will probably work in sales and not earn very much money. Some time ago, I would have said you need to go on to college but if this isn't feasible then, you need to work hard at whatever job you get, do your very best and you can and will find opportunity along the way.

Many entry level jobs, and if you play your cards right, when given the opportunity with on the job training programs you can work your way up.
There are also apprenticeship programs that can work real well for those interested in getting the skills needed for a trade, like mechanics, and construction.
If needed you can always take classes while working, and go from there.
A person without a college degree is only as limited as they want to be.
