I really don't care for this term. Maybe because it's something many (not all) unresponsible teens use. Anyone else?

preggers doesn't annoy me, preggo does though. My sister used to call me that during both my pregnancies and i always thought "WTF, I'm not spaghetti sauce"! LOL

no not all. I call myself preggers, preggo or even knocked up all the time! Bun in the oven is another good one. (and I'm not a teen, far from it) I think its meant more as an affectionate term for being pregnant rather than an annoying/insulting one.

Usually only women in a preggers state are annoyed by that.

I myself don't use the term preggers but it doesn't bother me when other people use it. I don't think it has anything to do with being irrresponsible or young. I think people say it to sound...cute. Most young irresponsible people I see don't say preggers, preggo, or preggy but rather they say "pregnate"

Ex: cud I b pregnate! which annoys me more than preggers for some reason.

preggers not so much but it should only be used sparingly like once a year if that.
Prego drives me nuts, I have no idea who actually uses it but please it just doesnt sound right and it gives me the creeps.

I believe the correct term is pregnant, I like bun in the oven and will occasionally use knocked up.

It never bothered me. I tend to use the term when I know someone is pregnant. "Oh... I hear you're preggers... Congratulations!!" I had a friend, online, who would always greet me with "Hey there, Prego" I asked him why he said that.... and his reply was "Because.... IT'S IN THERE"

Yes... He was a sick minded individual. lol

I say preg a lot,
preggers is what my 4 year old niece calls me, so its annoying to see "women" saying it.

I don't care for this term either. It isn't that hard to finish out the word and say pregnant.

Yes, it is a goofy word. Any of those short nicknames for pregnant and silly.

I love your screen name Jem! I forgot all about the Jem dolls. I used to love her when I was a kid!
