Hire the video and watch it at home with no noise and distractions around. Stop it regularly and replay sections. Take notes whilst doing this.
You have to learn to listen fast. Listen often if you can't listen fast enough.

If you're having a problem hearing, talk to the teacher and see if you can switch seats or stay after school.
You could also rent the video from most likely any videostore on the planet and watch it at home at your own pace.

that's a creative excuse and you get points for politeness...but no, I won't help you do your homework.
EDIT- take notes while you are watching the video so you don't have to remember everything you watch then take them home and elaborate on them while it is still fresh on your mind.
