[Whirling Dervish] I wouldn't argue with you on that one.

Because Bush is a liar. Bush has been caught lying about the most important decision a nation can make, war.

Bush lied about:

- Iraq buying uranium
- Iraq having aluminum tubes to enrich uranium
- Iraq having mobile chem weapons labs
- Iraq being involved in the attack on 9/11
- being a uniter and not a divider
- Iran building nuclear weapons

Due to Bush' lies:

- 4000 US soldiers are dead (approx)
- 30,000 US soldiers have been injured
- 300,000+ Iraqis are dead
- $2 TRILLION US dollars have been wasted
- the US dollar is tanking

I could re-post all of the proof of Bush's lies but the truth is already known.

On top of all of this, the Bush admin exposed a US CIA agent in retaliation against her husband.

The Americans that blame Bush for everything are limited to the few, who have no self esteem, low IQ, and very short memories. Seems they want it both ways. First he lied about WMD's although this was a fact 16 years prior to his taking the helm from the fool that allowed 3000 Marines to be killed, a ship and Navy personnel be killed and did nothing about it. I would like it if at least one of you could tell me which information you want to believe, they do or they don't have the desire to build the bomb? And why now?

It's easier to blame the person in charge than take personal responsability for the state of the country.

I find this a strange question from a Brit. Why do *Americans* blame him for everything?

Don't know what to tell you. Not all Americans do -- just the loud ones. The media is liberal. If you're going on this forum, half the people talking US politics aren't Americans.

When people don't know how something works, like our political system, they tend to get worried and start blaming someone.

In times of hardship, people need someone to blame. Honestly, it's not all that bad, it kind of unifies a group! The fact that our news system is controlled by political agendas doesn't help the cause though!

Because many people dont want to take ANY responsibilty for anything in their lives. When a hurricane hit, Bush was supposed to go and pick everyone up personally, even though the weather reports warned everyone for a week, that a big hurricane was coming, and they better evacuate New orleans.
Many of us take care of ourselves, but there are many (liberals) that want govt to run their entire lives!

Because he's made some screwed up decisions. He is not to blame for everything but it's easy to use him as a scapegoat for everything for a few of the moves he's made.

I'm not into politics myself; want to make that clear. A leader with all of the glory of its title actually serves two purposes, which are to lead the people and to become their scapegoat when all goes wrong.

Because we are an extremely 2 party system here in the US. People tend to believe everything that thier party stands for. Instead of exploring the issues and making thier own descision.
