I was vacationing in nyc and i was in my hotel when they had the 2003 city-wide blackout. Luckily I was in the Downtown Embassy Suites and they were really nice, gave us free food from the bar and these little emergency lighter things. That was an uncomfortable night of sleeping (no a c!!!)

Cuddle with blankets and candles & flashlights, and tell some fun stories and eat some snack foods like Chips or chex mix.
You got to make the best of it.

i have been in one several years ago and it was lots of fun watching all the idiots freaking out.

If there was one right now, I would read a book with a flashlight and toast marshmellows with my lighter.
