I mean spreading butter requires a double dip, lol. Any tips?

oh, well i always wipe the knife clean after i 'butter' and before i add jelly or a spread. Also, if i am just buttering the toast, i still wipe the knife clean. Crumbs inside the butter or margerine spread gross me out, as does butter or crumbs inside the jelly jar. Try wiping the knife clean in between buttering. :) ♥

I am wondering the same thing like I like toast and butter and I get so annoyed when I don't want crumbes and I get them.

Nope you can't it's a scientifically proven fact, they don't tell you that in the recipe book

also add 50g of butter err does that include the weight of toast crumbs

Leave the toast crumbs where they lay. Adds flavour and texture for the spread.

get some plastic knifes and use a new one every time you put butter on the toast.

just put a tablespoon of butter on the toast... that solves the problem

take a slice of butter and put on your plate with the toast on it. do not use same knife, or usr two hunks of butter on the plate.

Put a pat butter on your plate - don't use it out of the container.
