a rise in overall temperature.

many attribute this due to the greenhouse gases like SOx and CO2 that we as humans release into the atmosphere. These are released through energy consumption like the burning of fossil fuels in car engines. These gases then act like a blanket and allow incoming solar radiation in, but don't let it out as easily.

This is still a contreversial subject, since the Earth has gone through periods of warming and cooling that were not human induced before this (the Ice Age cycles -- last one was from 125,000 years ago to about 12,000 years ago)

but what can be said for certain, is that humans are putting more gases in the atmosphere. Since the beginning of the industrial revolution, the concentration of CO2 has increased extremely drastically.

Global warming is caused by the "greenhouse effect". You have experienced that if you ever stayed in a closed car in the sunshine; the temperature in the car will rise to very high levels. This is because heat comes in through the windows (as light, including infra-red), heats up objects in the interior, but the interior heat cannot escape through the windows, so the temperature builds up.

In the earth, certain gases in the atmosphere (CO2 and methane) do the same thing: they allow the infra-red radiation from the sun to warm objects in the earth, but block the loss of heat from those same objects, building up the temperature in the earth.

Global warming is essential for our planet, and without it there probably would not be any life; however, excessive global warming could be dangerous, and that is the concern now, since CO2 levels in the atmosphere have been rising steadily since the mid 19th century.

An extreme case of global warming gone wild is the planet Venus, whose atmosphere has a lot of CO2, and the temperature of Venus is much higher than it should be based on its distance from the sun.

You will only further the assumption if you continue to misspell words, such as "dumb".

Global warming and cooling are natural cycles that Earth goes through. Currently we are leaving an ice age, which is one of the reasons why temps are rising globally.

Also, Google "greenhouse effect" for more information about how Earth holds in heat. Then look up "Milankovitch cycles".

Recently global warming has become a political issue. However, do not get your science from politicians. Their agendas are not about scientific truth.

We men are responsible for burning enormous fuel and we are letting the atmosphere with emission of several hot and poisonous chemicals. These are the reason to affect the ecological balances. People can reduce by using the fuels properly.
