Aren't you miserable?? I was like this with my son...they ended up inducing me a week after my due date. I didn't dilate at all until 6 hours after they started inducing me! They even had to break my water. This is really common with first pregnancies, but I hope for your sake that baby decides to make it's way out on it's own!

Most of the time your baby dosen't drop until you get ready to give birth. I had to be induced at 41 weeks because I was not dialated at all. Nothing really works all you can do is wait it out. Your baby will come when he/she is ready if not they will probally induce you between 40-42 weeks along. Good Luck and congradulations.

I was always told to have sex, walk, or even rock in a rocking chair. The rocking chair moves your pelvis just like you were walking. The dr. told me to do this when I was limited to my activities. Most drs. will induce if you are ready to have your baby. Induced labor is much longer and harder though. With my first child I went into labor, but my second I was induced and it was a lot longer delivery. Good Luck

Just keep waiting. Your little one will comes out when it's time for him/her to. If it's not in the next week or so, your doctor will induce.

Some babies do not drop until delivery day...it may be a quick birth. Although i would sure listen to my dr and see what he thinks about this situation. Good Luck!!

SOMETIMES THE BABY JUST DOES NOT WANT TO LEAVE. I HAD TO HAVE INDUCTION WITH BOTH OF MINE. WHICH I WAS GLAD FOR.
