Minneapolis, Minnesota.. if you don't mind the cold winter. The summer isn't cold like a lot of stupid people think. Its about Mid 70's to the low 90's. Sometimes it can hit 100. The cost is ok but you will want to stay away from living in north minneapolis, and phillips neighborhood because thats where all the crime is. Its the 47th biggest city in the U.S. Theres a lot of stuff to do too including driving down about 10 miles to the Mall Of America (biggest mall in the country and second biggest in north america). The people very nice execpt for the 2 neighborhoods i said before

This will sound crazy, but the northern most part of the Detroit Metro is fantastic (Clinton Township, New Baltimore, Sterling Heights). It's right next to Lake St. Clair, across the water from Canada, the cost of living is low, and the area is beautiful. Also, contrary to popular belief, the area is very safe, and a great place to raise kids. I'm from Clinton Township, I currently live in Tulsa Oklahoma, and I plan on moving back soon. It's a great area (as long as you don't mind some winter weather and snow).

Is wherever you're happy (& can afford it). My choices would be in southern Vermont or New Hampshire. If you don't mind Winter, they're among the BEST places on the PLANET- to live... :)
