Actually I think it would start to get pretty annoying after a while. My husband is a disabled vet so he cannot work at the moment and when I get home from work the first person to my car is my German Sheppard (Hunter) and I blow the horn and my husband always comes out to the car and to walk me into the house and give me a hug and kiss and tell me that he missed me. But if he came to my car wiggling and trying to push the dog out of his way to get a hug from me I think I would run. We have been together for 14 years and I love for him to greet me at my car are the door. I also always do the same if he is gone and when he gets home.

You are soooo right -- it's called total unconditional LOVE. Then again though, when my boys came in the door, I was always excited to see them and hear about their day --- but I didn't wiggle my tail (cuz I don't have one - he ha ).....and they are MEN now so I don't get to see them come in anymore -- but my grandbabies do and I get alll excited about THEM now..... :)

I do that for my husband every day. I hear the garage door and I rush to meet him at the door with a hug and a kiss.

Yeah, but I always run to the door with my tongue hanging out of my mouth, my butt shaking back and forth and pawing at whoever is there...hahaha. Unconditional love is great!!

my 2 year old daughter does this to me! she's the only one though. When she hears my key in the door I can hear her say "It's mama! It's mama!"
And daddy gets the same treatment except he gets it from her and his son and I.

No. I would not like my husband to run and lay on the floor until I come over and scratch his head.

I wouldn't enjoy having to give all the same attention to everyone I know. And I don't wanna have to talk baby talk and rub their faces and smack their butts either.
