First, learn the distinction between astrology and astronomy.

Astrology is the silly thing about horoscopes and all related fictions. Astrology is based on myths and legends and has no relation whatever to reality.

Astronomy is real science, and it is the study of the nature and motions of celestial objects. Its purpose is to learn about the nature of the real universe in real terms.

Astrology is of no use at all to anyone, except as entertainment. I think Yahoo!Answers has a section on astrology under "entertainment." Take my word for it; that's all it's useful for.

Just think logically for a minute, if you are able to. How could the positions and motions of celestial objects thousands or millions of light years away possibly have any effect on events and personalities here on earth? Obviously they can't have.

So please do yourself a favor, and get interested in the study of real science, and leave the superstitious pseudo-science behind you.

P.S.: There are some really dimwitted people answering tonight; they also need to learn to distinguish bunk from science.

Not a whole lot. If you actually look up astrology, (this is astronomy) it is a study of personality traits that people are supposed to get because they are born a time of year when their certain constellations come out at night. According to the legend, if you are born at a time when you can see a certain constellation it will affect your personality. The truth is, constellations are not scientific at all. All they are is pictures in the sky (If you can even see them.) Since stars die out, and the universe changes, constellations are not accurate. Your personality is what you are. It has nothing to do with what time of year you were born in.

You're a FISH? Wow, that's cool! And you're actually typing on a computer? Amazing. But I guess, as a fish, you're not smart enough to realize that astrology is bunk.

You're smart. You might be outgoing. And you're probably passionate. As a Taurus myself, most of my friends are either Pisceses, Tauruses, and Capricorns. So you go, girl!

Your Sun Sign

Pisces
February 19 - March 20
Pisces is the twelfth Sign of the Zodiac, and it is also the final Sign in the Zodiacal cycle. Hence, this Sign brings together many of the characteristics of the eleven Signs that have come before it. Pisceans, however, are happiest keeping many of these qualities under wraps. These folks are selfless, spiritual and very focused on their inner journey. They also place great weight on what they are feeling. Yes, feelings define Pisceans, and it's not uncommon for them to feel their own burdens (and joys) as well as those of others. The intuition of the Pisces-born is highly-evolved. Many people associate Pisceans with dreams and secrets, and it's a fair association, since those born under this Sign feel comfortable in an illusory world.

It's a pair of Fish that represents Pisceans, a symbol which prompts others to suggest that these people 'go with the flow' and 'don't make waves.' Both of these labels are true, since Pisceans are fluid and easy-going, in keeping with the Mutable Quality assigned to this Sign. The fact that two fish (as opposed to one) represent the members of this Sign also speaks to the duality of Pisceans, their yin and yang sensibility. Pisceans alternate between reality and non-reality in keeping with their introspective natures; their voyage between consciousness and an unconscious dream state says much about their intuitive, almost psychic natures. For this reason, Pisceans can be hard to pin down, prompting some to call them the chameleons of the Zodiac. The Fish are happy to be considered hazy, since there's a certain sense of safety in that self-proclaimed netherworld. That said, they won't stay away for long, since one of their primary goals is to help others. Pisceans are compassionate, charitable and will quickly put the needs of others ahead of their own. It's this kind of self-sacrifice which keeps these folks going. The flip side to their giving natures is that oft-timid Fish are likely to be taken advantage of by less well-meaning souls.
