Do you know how to multiply fractions?
To divide two fractions, just invert the second fraction and multiply.
For example:
3/4 ÷ 5/6
3 ... 5
-- ÷ ---
4 ... 6
Invert and multiply:
3 .. 6 .... 18
-- x --- = ----
4 .. 5 .... 20
Reduce as before:
= 9/10
Another example:
3/4 ÷ 2
3 ... 2
-- ÷ ---
4 ... 1
Invert and multiply:
3 .. 1 .... 3
-- x --- = ---
4 .. 2 .... 8
= 3/8

switch the numerator and denominator of one of the fractions, and multiply them.
example: 2/3 divided by 3/4 = 2/3 times 4/3 = 8/9

alright so dividing fractions is somewhat multiplying the reciprocal, or opposite. meaning 5/sixteen divided by using 3/2 somewhat is asserting 5/sixteen * 2/3. So the respond could be 10/40 8 and simplified you may get 5/12.

okay dividing fractions are the same as multiplying by the reciprocal.
for example, 1/2 divided by 3/2 is the same as 1/2 multiplied by 2/3. which is 2/6 which simplifies into 1/3.
I hope i could help!!

to divide fractions you take the inverse of the second term and then you multiply like for ex. :
1/2 divide 1/2 you take the inverse of the second term
1/2 x 2 and you change the sign to x
= 1
