If he fails to correct the defect himself to your satisfaction, other recourse might include reporting to the state bar or taking him to court for breach of contract. Make sure you keep all records you have of the agreement you made with him and any contact you have with him.

Request it and if he says no, then you will have to prove that no work was done and sue him for it.
