Is it all just a hobby?

I think its a hobby for some people, but a lot of other people do it as a career. They just happen to be one of the people who have a career that they love.

Some of the most famous people in history are artists, musicians, composers, dancers, authors, philosophers, etc.
Learn about their lives & how they suffered for their art.
Some were tortured or imprisoned for what they believed, while others took their own lives.
To a serious artist, their work IS their life!
Study Michelangelo or Vincent Van Gogh & understand how tortured their lives were.

Obviously not. A lot of people are making a lot of money off these very things. When you listen to a song, read a book, or see a painting it didn't end up there for free.
