There are 4 teams per division.
The top team gets a bye week.
Doesn't the 3rd place team in each division have to duke it out during that bye week to determine who will face the division leader for the AFC West championship game, then on to the AFC Championship game, then the Superbowl?

Even if the Raiders somehow won their remaining games and got to 8-8 they would still be behind Cleveland, Jacksonville, Tennessee and possibly Buffalo and Denver in the wildcard race.

Thinks you are confusing the NFL playoff system with some Fantasy League playoff system. You are way off. In the AFC the 4 division winners are in the playoffs and then 2 teams with the next best records get in as wildcards. Even if the Raiders would win the remainder of their games they would stand no chances of making the playoffs,

If the Chiefs win sunday they'll be contained in the lead of the AFC West because that we personal the tiebreaker over the Raiders. It somewhat may be the Raiders because they have plenty a lot less stressful agenda, yet im hoping Kansas city can pull off some thing magical. sturdy success raiders, happy to finally be competing with someone to boot San Diego.

No your information is totally wrong. If your first in the division, you are garenteed a playoff berth and ranked 1-4 in playoffs. To get a bye week you must be 1-2 in the Conference. The chances of a 3rd ranked team in a division and getting into the playoffs are slim.

NO.....do you even understand how the playoffs work? have you heard of the wild card? No way can the raiders with their record get in, if any AFC west team has slim chance its the broncos because they have the better record.

no. there is no afc west championship games. it goes top divsion leaders (4) and 2 more teams that have the remainder best record.

in the AFC west, the raiders are second best behind the chargers.
the raiders should have beat broncos 2 times if it wasn't for shannhan's LUCKY timeout. and the chiefs, without larry johnson , we are better than them.
but no, they wont win their division
