It is a fairly good guitar for intermediate level guitarrist at a very good price. The level of dexterity is not necessarily determined by the time you have been studying. Some learn really fast and some learn way too slow. In the end I recommend you rather to go to a musical instruments shop. They usually have tons of different guitars that you can try and see what's the best fit for you. check price levels, feeling of the fretboard, try it plugged into a good combo, so you can learn the different pickups characteristics, compare humbuckers to other types, feel the rather simple tremolo of this guitar and compare it with the floyd rose tremolo, Also VERY IMPORTANT: Check the weight and the balance for your anatomy. Finally try to figure what kind of music you project yourself playing in the near future. Sometimes it is not that easy to find your true style, because beginners tend to idealize a rockstar, only to find that it was just an illusion.

Well,Only then, I would recommend you to order at musiciansfriend. It is not wise to blind order an istrument, it would be almost like gambling a good deal of money in a casino.
