Trick Question, Laptops are computers.
If you're wondering laptops or desktops, then laptops are better of course. That's what I use.

Laptops are awfull unless you have crazy typing skills for the shallow keys, and skilled fingers for the touch mouse. I'd pick a computer than a laptop anyday.

it depends if u like games and stuff like that a computer a laptop if you wanna sit on the couch or bed i personally like laptops but they arent as fast

in my opinion, computers. they work for programs better and they are just more powerful. laptop should be bought for either more private or compact type machine. also if you're traveleing you will want to get a laptop! =]
