And yet, the drums of war beat on.
It was a National Intelligence Estimate report, declassified by the people who got burned by the lead up to the Iraq war.
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice...

It is very much obvious why Bush is doing this. Evil war criminal Bush lied in order to demonize Iran at any cause in order to form a negative public opinion toward Iran and to scare American people that Iran will launch nuclear attack against the US so that American people will not object to invasion of other country and evil Bush will be able to start another oil war.

That statement about WW III is when the price of oil reached record highs. I'm curious to see if it goes down now. This president is bad for this country. He makes fools of every one of us.
I see somebody blaming Clinton again for the intelligence that led to the invasion of Iraq. That intelligence at that time was based on the fact that we gave Saddam Hussein his WMD. The WMD was used on Iran. Why didn't he use it against Kuwait? Could it be because he didn't have any more? He said he destroyed what he had at the time of the Gulf War and the intelligence reports that were current didn't dispute that. They used the reports of a fraud to base the reports of WMD upon before this invasion.

What I can't understand is all the nit wits who still support Bush . ( like the many who post or answer questions on yahoo answers).
He has been banging the war drums for months and all of the sudden the intelligence he has is all wrong. I honestly believe Bush has been drinking lately. Whenever he is speaking on TV I just turn the channel. He is like some tired old commercial that you click to find something interesting.

He doesn't listen to NIE reports because he gets his information from a higher source that tells him things like "George go invade Iraq and set the Iraqi people free"
And Bush said By God I'm gonna do it.

People don't; those things who accept anything Bush says aren't people. So relax; don't worry about it. Do like I do; hang out with people.

What exactly did he lie about?
Does Iran have the capability to enrich plutonium in large enough quantities to build a nuclear weapon? (That is, by the way all President Bush has said about Iran's nuclear programs)
The answer is, "Yes".
Is Iran continuing to build centrifuges?
Again, "Yes".
Did they halt the weapons program in 2003? Yes they did. Is there a four year gap between 2003 and the present time? Does anyone remember how long it took scientist to build the first atomic weapon in New Mexico during the Manhattan Project?
Just under 5 years.....
Wow.... amazing how target focused some can be, such that they loose sight of the big picture.
Please list for me the verifiable "lies" that the President has told regarding Iran's nuclear program and include references the refute what he has said.
Thanks.

People just get used to the fact that every word he says is a lie. So, really, this shouldn't surprise anyone. This is what happens when you lie. One small one turns into another, bigger one, and pretty soon, you can't tell the truth anymore. And by the way, how can the country that invented the bomb, used it twice on civilians, and then fought the most wars in recent history tell a country they don't have the right to one of their own? If we really believe atomic bombs in the hands of a country that is willing to "take out" another country is dangerous and wrong, why do we have them? I think, if we were making concrete steps to disarm, along with Russia and the rest of the world, we would be able to have the moral highground to tell others they can have them.

The at present disclosed CIA intelligence rewards Iran for combating their gorilla conflict against the yank occupation of Iraq, and cools the point of the chilly conflict between Iran and the U. S.. an identical intelligence became into withheld in 2003 to create conflict hysteria against Iran, as a manner to make a threat a protection rigidity attack against them and to intimidate Iran by using making them have faith we'd attack them. Barring such an attack, Bush II can attempt to rigidity Iran into backing off of Iraq. The CIA releases the intelligence that might help the plans of Bush II. that's no longer an open democratic employer. For conflict against Saddam in Iraq it lied with claims of WMD. For the tried attack against Iran (which now could be on carry) it lied appropriate to the state of Iranian weapons progression. Bush i became into head of the CIA, and on an identical time as he became into there crafted a plan for cover rigidity domination of the area, construction underground bunkers in the barren area of Saudi Arabia that we nevertheless occupy. whilst he grew to develop into President, Bush i began out to work together his plan by using goading Saddam to attack Kuwait by using telling him with the aid of diplomatic “lower back channels” the U. S. does no longer merchandise if he could take over Kuwait (an historic province of Iraq). as quickly as Saddam invaded of path, Bush I unleashed conflict plans that allowed the U. S. to stay in the area with protection rigidity forces. As a democracy we won't be able to believe the CIA to grant us honest education. The elite view in government is that public opinion in a democracy ought to be controlled and manipulated. worry of WMD seems to be their favourite approach. in fact, Iran is coming up WMD. One could desire to question, in spite of the undeniable fact that, how lots of that's a self-satisfying technique brought about by Iran attempting to guard itself against the bullying of the Bush dynasty.

Wait a second:
George Bush is wrong for believing the intelligence groups that Bill Clinton assembled who told him Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
AND
George Bush is wrong for not believing these same intelligence groups that Iran suspended nuclear pursuits in 2003.
I assume that you ARE the one and only person in the universe capable of knowing when to believe these intelligence agencies and when not to believe them.
Yeah, I get that.
