Curious survey. No time to explain the two... look them up.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear... but if you read about this stuff, you have to be either one or the other. I know that may sound extreme, but its true. When you break it down, people are seriously divided two ways; you either put your faith into the government or the individual.

Being collectivist doesn't necessarily mean that you put your faith in the government, it means you think of the "greater good" or your community.

Ex: Raising taxes to build a play ground. You either respond: a) Screw that, I don't have kids, I don't want to pay.
b) I don't have kids but realize that kids need areas to play, it'll combat obesity and help children developmentally.

I'm not saying that I am collectivist, I just noticed that there was a misunderstanding of what it is.

Depends on the issues. On Abortion, Death penalty, and gun rights, I say collectivist. But on Privacy, Affirmative Action I am individualist.
