Grow a pair...please. There is nothing wrong or unfair about the NFL overtime. In the NFL you ARE allowed to play defense. if a game is 10-10 going to overtime, then one team plays not to lose and gives up a field goal on the first possesion, that isn't luck, that's bad defense. I've seen many games including this year that both teams have muliple possesions before a score happens. People need to stop whining about this and tell your team to play defense if it loses the coin toss.
BTW, why doesn't the college OT start at the 40 yard line instead of the 25. That would be more sporting.

Absolutely not. The NFL overtime system works well and is much more exciting to watch. The college OT system is based solely on offense, it punishes a team with a good D, it punishes a team with good special teams. Football is about all three phases of the game (offense, defense, and special teams), the NFL system lets all parts come into play, the college system doesn't. In the NFL the team winning the coin toss in OT wins an average of 57% of the games. IF anything the college game needs to change it's system to the NFLs.

I prefer to watch the college overtime, but I'm not sure it should be used in the NFL. Maybe if the teams started on their own 25 yard lines, but I do like the idea of giving both teams a chance.

Colts followers (the bandwagon ones) oftentimes not at all challenge approximately regulations or regulations till it without postpone outcomes THEIR group in a destructive way. Wasn't their some crap final twelve months while the refs did no longer supply the Chargers a TD that they ought to have in the playoff activity and the Bolts nonetheless gained? additionally, they're going to communicate approximately how the Pats have been eleven-5 without playoffs, yet fail to point how one in each of those video games have been lost in overtimes. The Colts will whine because of the fact maximum of them are actually not professional followers, purely like the Pats followers that save whining on the subject of the gadget no longer being honest. additionally, the ref calls have been all professional, yet they're going to discover besides to whine and *****. stay Cool

I kinda like it the way it is. If your defense is good, then you have nothin to worry about. Chances are you can get the ball back. I think that is why it's pro football, more is expected of you.

yeah sorta its not fair they should give each team the ball and time how long it takes them to score if they both score that is let each team have the ball if one doesnt score then the others wins that would be exciting watching teams tryin to score as quickly as possible.
